The Origin Story

Nate and Rosalyn met at 18 years old and immediately became friends, bonding over their love of live music. They spent years attending so many shows from Punk to Bluegrass together.

Nate has always dreamed of owning a music venue for as long as he can remember.

In 2015, they were both graduating from college in Flagstaff, AZ when a small commercial space became available in Nate’s hometown of Mariposa, CA. They took the leap to open a craft beer and wine bar and music venue, The Grove House. It quickly gained a loyal following and in 2021, moved to a much larger location.

At the new location, The Grove House has bigger bands from all over the US, a rotating farm-to-table menu, craft beer, wine, and cocktails. 

The grove house is a craft beer and wine bar located just forty-five minutes outside of Yosemite National Park, in historic downtown Mariposa.
