The Origin Story
Nate and Rosalyn met at 18 years old and immediately became friends, bonding over their love of live music. They spent years attending so many shows from Punk to Bluegrass together.
Nate has always dreamed of owning a music venue for as long as he can remember.
In 2015, they were both graduating from college in Flagstaff, AZ when a small commercial space became available in Nate’s hometown of Mariposa, CA. They took the leap to open a craft beer and wine bar and music venue, The Grove House. It quickly gained a loyal following and in 2021, moved to a much larger location.
At the new location, The Grove House has bigger bands from all over the US, a rotating farm-to-table menu, craft beer, wine, and cocktails.
The grove house is a craft beer, wine and cocktail bar and event venue located just forty-five minutes outside of Yosemite National Park, in historic downtown Mariposa. We are open on event nights only, please check our calendar for operating hours!

The Grove House is transitioning to an Events Only space, but we will strive to have as many events as possible! Keep an eye on our calendar! If an event is listed we are open, if not we are closed.

The Grove House is a General Admission venue and all seating is first come first serve. For some shows we remove all tables and chairs, others we will leave some in the back that can be shared “family style” by anyone who needs to sit. If someone in your party has a disability we can make accommodations.

Almost always yes! Occasionally we will have a 21 and up show but we will make sure to put that on the event info.
